About Taehun Kim

I am a senior studying Accounting at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a strong interest in how accounting, particularly tax policy, shapes broader social and economic dynamics. I am on track to graduate with distinction and will be CPA-eligible in December 2026.Through balancing rigorous academic coursework with extracurricular and personal pursuits, I have developed strong leadership, analytical, and collaborative skills. I have had the opportunity to demonstrate these strengths by contributing to significant organizational growth, including helping expand the Beta Alpha Psi chapter at UW–Madison by over 600% to 70 members within one academic year.In addition, I have served in multiple academic support roles—including project, research, and teaching assistant positions—working closely with faculty and supporting student learning.I am eager to gain hands-on experience in a public accounting environment, particularly in tax, where I can apply my academic knowledge while continuing to deepen my technical and practical understanding of the field.Currently, I am seeking full-time opportunities that allow me to explore my interests in tax and accounting, as well as contribute to professional and academic writing on topics such as tax policy and accounting-related legislative developments.Feel free to reach out—I\'d be glad to connect!
