I research education policy process and actor agency, and the role of language therein. I have been providing policy advisory to international organisations (e.g, the British Council; Asian Productivity Organisation) on policy design/management and teacher development. I\'m a Co-Convenor of the Policy Studies and Politics of Education Network (EERA), and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and of the East-West Center, US.
