Read electrical and electronics schematics and assembly drawings.Assemble harnesses and rework them to IPC-A-620 standard.Assemble and rework PCB’s to IPC-A-610 standard.Solder though hole and surface mount components to class 3 standard.Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety requirements and good working practices in the laboratory and High Voltage environment.Panel wiring. Wiring of hydrogen fuel cells.Using various crimp tools for Amphenol, Deutsch, Jst, Molex and other connectors.Responsible for maintaining lab stocks of components.Provide technical support to the development and research groups with electrical and electronic tasks through the management, resourcing and delivery of technical assistance.Work with the Electrical and Electronic Design and wider Engineering teams to build and develop prototypes of fuel cell systems and associated test systems.Use a degree of innovation and technical judgement to interpret requirements and devise appropriate solutions for novel and complex problems.Ensure adherence to all safety, customer, functional requirements and relevant National, European and International standards on electrical and electronic circuit and system manufacture.Where applicable lead, coach or mentor fellow Engineers and Technicians.
