In my current role as Team Lead, I work with our Central Region management team to provide a clear vision of our strategic priorities throughout the year, help to develop our new hires with focused training, provide monthly group underwriting training, take underwriting referrals and ensure they align with company set out position papers, track underwriting referrals across Canada to create efficiencies, and deal with broker disputes through negotiation. This role has allowed me to enhance my leadership skills, underwriting acumen and problem solving.
