ABOUT TUSHAR PATEL

I am a determined and focused Engineering Professional with a Bachelors of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechatronics Engineering. I am a team player, work well with others and am confident in both my technical and interpersonal skills. Currently I work for AtkinsRéalis - CANDU Energy as a Instrumentation and Controls Designer on the Electrical and Controls - Retube Team. I work towards the design and development of control systems in reactor retube tooling. I am extremely passionate about nuclear energy, and have gained plentiful experience from this position in both the nuclear and automation sectors.Beyond nuclear, I have plentiful experience in manufacturing process and systems through my positions at General Motors and Collins Aerospace. I am well versed with quality systems and benchmarking, having exposure to product quality analysis and various root cause identifying methods such as fish-bone diagrams, why-why analysis, etc. I have plentiful experience in robotics, automation, pneumatic systems, and their integrations. Finally, through schooling and my various hobbies, I have plentiful experience engineering tools such as Solidworks and NX, as well as object oriented programming languages such as Java and C++. I am also well versed in 3D printing, and apply these skills as a hobbyist. Always excited to learn more!
