I am a poet, fiction-writer, film-activist and the director of Saudha one of the leading platforms for the promotion of Indian classical and global music as well as other art forms e.g. poetry, dance, theatre, film, painting etc. The platform has been critically acclaimed for its extremly high-quality, world-class live events and productions.I am also founding director of RadhaRaman Society, the organisation that hosts one of the largest folk music festivals in the North called RadhaRaman Folk Festival as well as Baul and Vaishnav Music Featival in London. I also have been directing and introducing a new art form in the West, that is Bengalj opera / Bengali ancient rural theatre through reconstructing the form, the content and reinterpreting myths in contemporary context.
