Confident, question how things are done and act to improve, focused on making the change. Specializing in java and python backend software development and design, over 3+ years of experience working for market-leading companies. My most valuable assets are the ability to understand how things work, excellent organization, and logical thinking which combined allowed me to always exceed the expectations of my employers. Since I was a child was always interested to know how things work and preferred to understand something rather than to learn something by heart, this approach allowed me to learn better and quicker allowing me to pick up on my hobbies. In High school had my first encounter with coding at that time learned to code in c++ and learned about computers, passion for programming was the reason why I have started studying computer science at King’s College London. By the end of the first year, thanks to my great time management and organizational skills managed to find my first real full-time job as a java developer at Travelfusion, which I have continued during my also full-time studies which were challenging but I like challenges. My performance was exceptional therefore have been promoted from intern to junior java developer in 6 months and although a very short time at the company received double the usual bonus at the end of the year. After another year of working on the most complex and valuable task, was hired by IHS Markit as an associate software engineer where I had my first encounter with AWS in a professional environment and was astonished by how the economy of scale lets you reduce the costs and enable to do amazing things, learned there how to migrate a big application into a cloud environment. Next have been approached by a recruiter from JPMorgan and since I thought I have already learned everything I could I have decided to move on despite the promotion and pay rise they have offered. At JP I have truly discovered what interests me and devoted my career to work for investment banks and hedge funds loved every aspect of the job from interactions with the traders to be a part of a huge corporate ecosystem. I thought I might stay there for the rest of my career although have come by an opportunity that was too hard to pass by a promotion to a vice president of software engineer at Bank of America, excited to see where this path will take me.Buzzwords so LinkedIn shows my profile :) agile, cloud development, java, python, rmds, SQL, AWS, API, Algorithms, concurrency, efficiency, spring, CI/CD, git, time management, finance
