The Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition reorganized into the Human Foods Program (HFP) in October 2024. Within the HFP, I am now part of the Office of Food Chemical Safety, Dietary Supplements, and Innovation (OFCSDSI), specifically under the Innovative Foods Staff. I serve as the principal toxicologist for the Human Food Made with Cultured Animal Cells Premarket Consultation program. I still continue working on the same projects and participating in the same expert groups as I did before the reorganization. My work responsibilities have not changed.*Review of GRAS notices, Food Additive, Color Additive & ONFL petitions, Cell Culture Pre-market Consultations Plant Biotech notifications, and NDINs.*PI/Co-PI leading development of computational toxicology software and AI-enabled risk/safety assessment decision-support platforms under RCAs and multiple contracting vehicles.*EPA Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC): Ad hoc peer reviewer. Peer Review of Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) 2024 Draft Risk Evaluation for 1,1-Dichloroethane and 2024 Draft Human Health Hazard Technical Support Document for 1,2-Dichloroethane.*FDA expert representative in various OECD Expert Groups (e.g, Guidance on the Validation and International Acceptance of New or Updated Test Methods for Hazard Assessment and Determination of CYP450 Induction Using Differentiated Human Hepatic Cells)*And all those listed below for 20••••24.
