Syreeta Vaughn is a senior staff member serving as a Nuclear Facility Safety Division senior staff member managing special projects at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Her mission support experience includes serving as the nuclear safety basis enterprise technical lead for the Y-12 National Nuclear Security Complex and Pantex Plant, coordinating the Y-12 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) program, and managing American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) waste management deactivation and decommissioning projects.Syreeta has also supported diverse programs and projects at the Savannah River Site and ORNL. Her expertise includes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, Lean Six Sigma, and project management, reflecting her holistic approach to advancing nuclear safety and organizational excellence.
