ABOUT SYLWIA BIALEK-GREGORY
I am Executive Manager for Research and Consulting at the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne (EWI), leading a team of 30 highly skilled researchers. My own research focus has been on design of energy markets and environmental regulations. Through economic modeling, simulations, and quantitative analyses I study how regulatory framework can aid efficient transition. I am also a non-resident scholar at the Institute for Policy Integrity at New York University. In the past, I served as a Head of Unit for Productivity and Public Finance as well as the Head of Unit for Microeconomics at the German Council of Economic Experts.
