Twenty years of Government Contracting experience (DoD and Civil) to include: Cost accounting, Revenue recognition. Journal entries, Contact administration and Billing. Four years of Supervision and Management of an Accounts Receivable Division consisting of a team of four to nine associates. Management style is teamwork oriented and includes the sharing of resources, skills, techniques, ideas and practices. Accounting software utilized: PeopleSoft 9.0, Costpoint, JDE (JD Edwards), Deltek System 1, JAMIS, and Cognos Impromptu. Strengths include extensive knowledge of government contract accounting and contract practices and administration, the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Possess excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. Assisted with the conversion from an in-house accounting software system to JAMIS. Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, GAAP, and CAS.
