ABOUT SYLVANA SACKEY-SAM
Data scientist with key interest in health data analytics and research. I am seeking a work opportunity to apply gained skills on real world health projects and as well add value to the ever-increasing demand in the field. I have real world health-based projects on diabetes detection with standard machine learning algorithms like Random Forest, Logistic Regression and KNN and also on schizophrenia detection with pretrained convolution neural network models specifically Resnet-18 and Inception-V3 combined with long-short-term-memory models using electroencephalogram signal data. I am passionate about what I do and have an utmost interest in (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) STEM. My goal is to develop myself adequately in my career and to start up an organization, to train and nurture more women and girls in the STEM space in Africa.
