I joined Sterling Commerce in May 1997 and never left the company. I have been through several acquisitions: SBC, AT & T, IBM followed by strategic partnerships with Syncsort then Precisely. With over 27 years in the company it shows my absolute loyalty and experience. I have seen the birth of Sterling B2B Integrator with the 1.0 version. With over 20 years experience on Sterling B2B Integrator I know all the aspects of the product. My areas of expertise are in performance tuning, optimization of every aspect of the product and database maintenance and performances. I have assisted customers in processing several millions of documents per day while keeping up with the DB clean up processes, which can be challenging. In some extreme load tests I was able to reach over 100 Swift transactions per second for 24 hours non stop without a degradation of the throughput. I am passionate about performance tuning and optimization of the application. My role requires strong knowledge in the following areas: Communication protocols, network infrastructure, hardware resources, storage devices, java tuning, operating systems, databases, SQL, mapping, bpml, reading javacore, analysing heapdumps, garbage collector logs and more.
