I am a Senior Data & Applied Scientist at the Microsoft Capacity Planning (MCP) Centre of Excellence, where I help Microsoft enable the infrastructure powering Azure’s global growth. My work focuses on building scalable forecasting and analytical systems that guide multi‑billion‑dollar capacity decisions. I apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and large‑scale data analysis to anticipate cloud demand, optimize resource allocation, and reduce operational risk.Beyond my core role, I am deeply committed to developing the next generation of data talent. I mentor and coach aspiring data scientists, teach data science at leading ed‑tech platforms, and stay closely connected to academia through collaborations, curriculum contributions, and research‑driven engagements. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain.This organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying the explosive growth in the Azure Cloud business. I have been responsible for developing and implementing forecasting models to predict future demand for cloud services. These models use advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends and patterns in customer usage. By accurately predicting future demand, these models help us to optimize our cloud capacity and ensure that our customers have access to the resources they need.
