ABOUT SYED AJIMAL KHAN KAMALUDEEN
I build things in space manufacturing that did not exist before — and I build the teams, processes, and operational infrastructure around them. I joined Dhruva Space, when the company was a small team with big ambitions. Today, Dhruva Space has grown to over 250 people and delivers flight-heritage hardware to customers across India, Europe, and the Middle East. Being part of that journey — from founding team to scaled operation — is the experience that defines my career. At Dhruva Space, I led the development of India\'s first privately manufactured Space-Grade Solar Panels: a capability that previously existed only within ISRO. I took full ownership of entire New Product Lifecycle and international customer delivery. I have delivered 9 sets of CFRP solar panels for 150 kg+ class satellites and 6 PCB-based panel sets for CubeSats (1U, 6U, 12U), and have worked on satellite platform realisation programmes alongside these. As Senior Project Manager, I operate as a cross-functional integrator — aligning AIT, QA, Supply Chain, Production Planning & Control, Mechanical, Test Engineering, Legal, and Business Development to programme milestones. I have managed direct teams of 20 people and coordinated across 40+, working closely with CXO leadership on company strategy and growth. Earlier in my career, I spent three years at Capgemini supporting the Airbus A220 programme as a Technical Author, and completed a Graduate Apprenticeship at ISRO\'s Satellite Centre where I developed signal processing algorithms for the IRNSS navigation system.
