As the Innovation Relationship Manager, I\'m at the front end of G&W Electric\'s innovation process. My main focus is finding new business opportunities, building strong partnerships, and getting the early stages of innovation projects off the ground. I act as the voice of the customer, working closely with the innovation team to make sure their needs are translated into practical initiatives.A big part of my job is building relationships with people outside the company, like folks at startups, universities, national labs, and other industry partners. My goal is to create a strong innovation ecosystem that supports G&W Electric\'s long-term growth.I work directly with our key customers to find potential \"Alpha\" project opportunities. I am in constant contact with them throughout the entire Alpha process to make sure we successfully test and validate new technologies.
