Project: Hinkley Point C – 1600MWe x 02 European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR) nuclear power station.Key Responsibilities:• Responsible designer for the survival island building ventilation and air conditioning system (DCL system), ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with nuclear safety standards.• Develop and manage System Design Manuals (SDM) for Mechanical and I&C systems, including P & IDs, sizing reports, and functional specifications.• Coordinate across disciplines to maintain design consistency and verify system performance through sizing and margin checks.• Oversee system modifications (design change), resolving technical issues (open points) with different stakeholders (safety, commissioning, Electrical, Layout team).• Review and approve supplier documentation to ensure design quality and compliance.• Support continuous improvement by applying lessons learned from previous EPR projects.
