ABOUT SYED MUHAMMED ABUBAKER

As a Data Science Intern at Caterpillar, I work with a team of engineers and analysts to develop and deploy machine learning models for various applications, such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and optimization. I use PyTorch, Scrum, and TensorFlow to implement, test, and refine the models, ensuring their accuracy, robustness, and scalability. I also design and create dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, presenting the results and insights to stakeholders and customers, driving data-driven decisions and improving business value. I am pursuing my Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Purdue University, where I am focusing on the areas of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data analytics. I have completed courses in Python, R, SQL, Azure, AWS, and machine learning algorithms, and I have applied my skills and knowledge to various projects and research activities. For example, I contributed to a 20% cost reduction for JobsOhio, a previous employer, by optimizing their ETL pipelines using cloud technologies. I also co-authored a paper on human-robot collaboration, published in the International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems. I am passionate about learning new technologies and solving real-world problems with data and AI.
