Development of cost effective, simple and rugged bio-analytical methods and their validations for quantitation of drug and/or metabolites for use in biostudies. Analysis of biological samples of allocated BA/BE studies in the lab, in conformance to in-house SOPs and current regulatory requirements. Error free documentation of experimental details in raw data. To ensure training on protocol, relevant SOP(s), and bio-analytical plan before initiation of the allocated projects. Preparation of SOP(s) and provide training to laboratory personnel. To provide inputs for preparation and revision of SOP(s). Maintenance of allocated resources like pipettes, MS machines etc. and judicious utilization of laboratory supplies. To assist laboratory supervisors for process improvement and cost saving initiatives. Ensure timely availability, procurement and maintenance of reference/working standards intended for conducting method development, method validation and clinical sample analysis in the department. RESPONSIBILTIES IN PREVIOUS ORGANISATION (Jubilant Biosys Ltd) GLP Bioanalytical and Analytical Method Development and validation of NCE’s on HPLC and LC-MS/MS Performing Physiochemical assays like Solubility Assay by Kinetic method, Equilibrium method, Thermodynamic method on HPLC (WATERS) with PDA and UV detector.(Empower 2 & 3 software), Log P, D AND pKa assay, stability assay etc. Bioanalytical support for drug discovery and development projects of NCE’s. GLP Lab support for maintenance, Calibration and documentation of Instruments (weighing balances, pH meter, pipettes, HPLC, etc.). Extraction of drugs from biological matrixes such as plasma, serum, tissue homogenate, tumour by solid phase extraction, liquid liquid extraction and protein precipitation for bioanalysis on HPLC, LC-MS/MS from PK/PD experiments. Formulation Analysis on HPLC. Skin permeation studies on Franz cell using artificial membranes rat, pig and mice skin. Handling of LC-MS/MS (API Q-TRAP, SCIEX 6500,5500) Preparation of study protocol, study reports, and SOP’s for DMPK studies. Literature Review and search relevant literature.
