Currently working with Ventia Australia Pty Ltd for SKA (Square Kilometer Array)-LOW project (near completion), a groundbreaking engineering endeavor utilizing cutting edge technology for the establishment of world\'s largest radio telescope located in Murchison region of WA with overall worth circa $400M. My specific role is related to the construction of CPF (Central Processing Facility), a modular construction building with a special consideration to stop the RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) leakage from inside the building to the outside radio frequency sensitive scientific equipment being used for extraterrestrial research purposes. My job responsibilities comprise of: Spearheading the installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical, fire, hydraulics/plumbing services in compliance with the quality standards of the project. Progress monitoring of the subcontractors and updating the higher management and client with daily/weekly progress reports as required. Coordination and execution of front-end engineering activities and compliance of the installation, testing and commissioning of critical mechanical equipment (Chillers, OAPUs, FCUs, AHUs, Chilled water pumps, Dry Coolers etc.), Fire (Gas Cylinders/Nozzles, VESDAS, smoke/heat detectors etc.) and Plumbing/Hydraulics (Hydraulics skid/pumps, Water meters, piping etc.) and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Raising early warnings, technical queries, defects, proposed instructions and GCs for coordination with clients and subcontractors on CEMAR platform to meet the obligations of NEC4 contract ensuring smooth project delivery. Efficient site coordination using Autodesk Navisworks freedom for services clash detection. Creation and signing off quality work documents including ITPs, MDRs, Checklists, etc. Managing the project operations with a focus on profitability, meeting project goals and ensuring safety with strong understanding of HSE policies.
