ABOUT SYED AHMED
I am instructed to both claim and defend in a variety of contractual disputes, damages claims, and commercial matters. I have gained considerable expertise as a consultant to major financial institutions, and at the ‘big four,’ specialising in banking, finance, commercial and regulatory law. Having worked in the sector for over thirteen years, I am well versed in banking and commercial litigation. My work also includes advising on commercial matters outside of court and ADR where appropriate. I regularly draft documentation for, and advise on mergers, acquisitions, and financial instruments.Additionally, I advise and represent clients on allegations of financial and business crime including fraud, money laundering, and HMRC tax investigations.
