ABOUT SYED AADIL ALI

I’m a versatile communications and education professional with a diverse background in PR, media, marketing, and teaching. Currently, I work as a Cover Supervisor at Heston Community School, supporting students across various subjects while applying strong classroom management and organisational skills. I recently completed a PGCE at Roehampton University, building on my earlier experience as an Assistant Language Teacher on the JET Programme in Japan.Previously, I was an Account Executive at Bastion PR, where I managed media relations and campaign support for high-profile clients including Square Enix, Prime Gaming, and Wizards of the Coast. I developed bespoke media lists, secured coverage, and prepared comprehensive reports to track client success.My background also includes B2B PR work at Raptor PR, functionality testing at SEGA, and marketing leadership at Insanity Radio 103.2FM, where I secured press access to major gaming events such as E3 and MCM Comic Con.Academically, I hold a pass in PGCE Religious Education from Roehampton, 2:1 LLB in Law from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a 2:1 BA in Politics, Philosophy, and International Relations. Whether in the classroom or the media landscape, I’m passionate about clear communication, creative strategy, and delivering meaningful results through thoughtful engagement.I also have experience working on the marketing side of a radio station, with one year as the head of Marketing and another year as a radio host as the Head of Marketing at Insanity Radio 103.2FM.During my time at Insanity Radio 103.2FM, I helped secure press copies of video games and press invitations to cover several high-profile \"geeky\" events such as E3, MCM Comic Con, The Golden Joystick and EGX Rezzard. Lastly, while I was a radio host I developed my public speaking and presentation skills while also helping to build the foundation for my current organisation skills that have supported to this day.
