I practice intellectual property law, with a focus on trademarks, copyright, branding and commercial IP matters. As a registered trademark agent, I provide trademark prosecution, clearance and opposition representation acts on behalf of clients across industries, including music and entertainment, luxury goods and high fashion, beer and spirits and software and technology. I also advise on general commercial intellectual property matters such as licensing, acquisition, joint development agreements and intellectual property matters in corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, financings and insolvencies.My practice includes intellectual property enforcement matters and litigation of trademark and copyright matters, and I have appeared before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Trademarks Opposition Board.I have been recognized as “One to Watch” by Best Lawyers in Canada for 2025 and a Rising Star in Canada by Managing IP for 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2023 and 2024. I am active in the IP bar, including as a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada’s (IPIC) Conference Committee and a member of the Public Information Committee for the International Trademark Association (INTA).
