Championing equity, cultivating leadership, and fueling a diverse pipeline of changemakers in education. As a Recruitment Director at Teach For America, I lead high-impact recruitment strategies to build a diverse, dynamic pipeline for TFA’s corps and Ignite programs. I execute high-volume outreach, forge strategic partnerships, and offer personalized support to candidates—ensuring every interaction reflects our deep belief in leadership, equity, and access.I cultivate meaningful relationships with prospective corps members and community partners, using data-driven insights to drive engagement and inform where we show up and how we show up. My approach integrates DEI, leadership development, and community-building principles into every facet of the recruitment process, advancing TFA’s mission and broadening our collective impact. Each year, I work toward ambitious goals that grow both the volume and diversity of our corps. In 2024 alone, over 40% of new corps members were placed in STEM classrooms, over 50% identified as people of color, and over 40% were first-generation college graduates. More than 1,500 leaders joined the corps having once been taught by a TFA educator—demonstrating the generational power of our movement. From managing top-of-funnel strategy to mobilizing alumni networks and ambassadors, I specialize in creating personalized, compelling journeys for each candidate. I thrive at the intersection of strategy and heart, leading with curiosity, racial equity, and a firm belief in the potential of every child—and every future corps member—to shape a more just world.
