About Sydney Snyder
As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I bring a diverse background in human services, with experience spanning DEI initiatives, school social work, and early childhood education. Throughout my journey, I’ve developed a strong passion for systemic reform and creating meaningful, positive change in people’s lives. My roles have taught me valuable lessons in adaptability, empathy, and advocacy, all of which I’m excited to carry into my next opportunity.In addition to my social work experience, I also have a creative skill set: proficient in video and photo editing tools, which I used to create promotional content for events and engage in outreach efforts during my graduate assistantship in the School of Social Work’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. As a graduate assistant, I represented the student perspective in faculty meetings, hosted and moderated virtual events via Zoom, and used programs like Excel and Microsoft Office for managing feedback data. I’m a fast learner, highly adaptable, and driven to use my communication and media skills to contribute to an organization committed to making a lasting impact.
