Hi, I’m Sydney Nichols, a second-year student at Florida State University pursuing a double major in Accounting and Marketing through FSU’s accelerated Degree in Three program. I plan to graduate in Spring 2027 and continue with a Master’s in Accounting. I am interested in how accounting provides reliable financial information to support transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making.On campus, I serve as President of Pi Sigma Epsilon, where I lead chapter operations, guide the executive board, and organize programs that help members develop professional skills. I am also a member of Women in Accounting and previously served as a Delegate for Dance Marathon at FSU, supporting the organization’s philanthropic initiatives.I am seeking opportunities in auditing to gain hands-on experience, strengthen my technical skills, and learn from professionals in the field. Long term, I aim to build a career in public accounting, earn my CPA license, and help organizations maintain strong financial practices while expanding my expertise in financial analysis and evaluation.
