ABOUT SYDNEY LAM

Hi! I am a digital marketing & brand strategy student in the Marketing Management program at BCIT.Before I decided on a complete shift to BCIT’s Marketing Management program, I studied at UBC for a few years in the Bachelor of Arts program. I decided to pursue my interest in marketing for a career in an industry that I am inspired by and have always admired.Last summer, I worked abroad in Orlando, Florida for Disney World. This experience allowed me to appreciate new cultures and recognize the beauty of perspectives and collaboration. It opened my eyes to the value of adaptability, making me realize how growth can arise from being pushed outside my comfort zone. This opportunity shaped me into a more fulfilling person who embraces meaningful connections.With experience in leading and working with people from all around the world, I intend to continue down this journey of learning and acquiring new skills in preparation for the business industry, all while challenging myself to be more outgoing and braver in the field of marketing!
