Sydney is a producer with Howden, the 10th largest insurance brokerage in the world. She is part of the sales team building the company’s U.S. retail presence. Her role is to help clients solve their most complex insurance risks across all industries & geographies. She holds licenses for both property & casualty (P&C) and employee health & benefits (EH & B). Howden has $47 billion in gross written premium with colleagues operating in 56 countries.She spent the first 11 years of her career with Marsh McLennan in various roles. Most recently, she was a sales executive/producer with Marsh. Prior, she was a Director with Marsh McLennan as part of the Advantage team, focused on business development between the four companies within the firm. Her specialty was natural disaster solutions and building public/private partnerships with clients. She was the leader for energy clientele in the U.S. along with all industries across the South Central partnership & New York Metro. Sydney began her career as a P&C energy broker with Marsh after completing two internships with the company during college.She is the author of “Barneys, Bergdorfs & Bill$: a Girlfriends’ Guide to Finance” and the sequel, “Fund$ Will Follow.”She is the founder of the non-profit, Alpreneur, a lifestyle uniting those with a passion for the outdoors with proceeds benefitting organizations focused on the preservation of land and restoration of mother nature. Sydney has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Risk Management and Insurance & Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi. She is an advisory board member for the Ole Miss School of Insurance.
