About Sydney Delaney
I am a Security Consultant at Control Risks, a global risk and strategic consulting firm, where I develop policies and procedures, conduct site penetration tests, and identify and propose solutions for clients across various industries. I have a Master of International Relations/Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, with a focus on Conflict and Security Studies. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Business Management from Agnes Scott College, and a Minor in Classics. I have completed several academic and professional programs in France, Northern Ireland, and at Georgia Tech, enhancing my communication, strategy, and writing skills. In my current and previous roles at Control Risks, I have coordinated business development and account management, engaged with and advised executive level stakeholders, and anticipated and met client needs proactively. I have also worked as an Associate, Strategic Partnerships at The Digital Economist, a global media and think tank platform, where I streamlined partner outreach and relationship management, co-created and co-branded content, and facilitated the writing, design, and publication of the Center of Excellence, a policy research publication. I am passionate about applying my security consulting and partnership skills to foster a safer, more resilient, and more inclusive world. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a collaborative, supportive, and adaptable attitude.
