Sydney Adams is a Senior Game Designer with a decade of experience shaping systems and player experiences in the games industry. After leading the development of the Missions, Mission Hub, and NPC systems on Kerbal Space Program 2, Sydney joined Blizzard Entertainment, where her work focused on combat encounters, side quests, and quest chains for the award-winning Diablo IV expansions Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred. Most recently, as Seasonal Lead on “Sins of the Horadrim,” she guided Season 9 from initial concept through full live deployment delivering a complex, player-facing experience at scale and reinforcing her reputation for leading ambitious features from vision to reality.As a Creative lead on the Magic the Gathering, Secret Lair: Black is Magic card set, Sydney was instrumental in the card set becoming Wizards of the Coast’s most successful philanthropic product at the time, raising over $900K for the organization Black Girls Code.Introduced to games by her mother, this New York native can be found running homebrew campaigns for friends in her free time.
