I am an Audit Associate at Aprio, working within the affordable housing practice, with a strong academic foundation and hands-on audit experience supporting high-quality, mission-driven assurance work.I graduated with my Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia’s J.M. Tull School of Accounting, after earning my BBA in Accounting, summa cum laude, from UGA. I am currently pursuing CPA certification.My professional experience includes audit internships with Wipfli LLP and KPMG LLP, where I gained practical experience in audit execution, compliance testing, risk advisory, and client collaboration. Through these roles, I developed a strong ability to perform detailed audit procedures, analyze financial data, and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial statements and compliance reports.In addition to my professional experience, I have been involved in leadership and service initiatives throughout my academic career. I previously served as an ambassador for the MAcc Student Association, helping foster engagement and connection among students. I am a former member of Pi Beta Phi, where I supported literacy initiatives and community service efforts, and previously participated in Order of Omega, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Women in Business. I also served as a Team Lead for UGA HEROs.I bring a strong technical skill set, including experience with Caseware, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, SPSS, SAS, and Microsoft Excel (certified). I am eager to leverage my analytical and problem-solving skills to make a meaningful impact in audit and assurance, particularly within the affordable housing and community-focused sectors.
