About Sydney McLeod
As a student at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business majoring in Economics with minors in Political Science, I’ve found my passion at the intersection of business, policy, and advocacy. Whether giving tours as a Haslam Ambassador, passing legislation as a Student Government Senator, or interning at a law firm where I’ve participated in hospital legal meetings and streamlined legal document, I thrive in roles where communication, analysis, and impact come together. Additionally, my roles in organizations like Phi Mu, Order of Omega and Kappa Alpha Pi have strengthened my voice and helped me grow into someone is eager to make real change. Looking ahead, I plan to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney afterwards. My goal is to use my legal education to influence change, wether in the medical filed or in more of a public policy space. I want to be part of the next generation of legal professionals who not only interpret the law but help reshape it to create more ethical, inclusive, and innovative systems. I hope to use my voice to advocate for others and drive meaningful change.
