ABOUT SYDNEY VANCE

Hi! My name is Sydney Vance, and I am a Junior BFA Acting and BA Journalism double major from Phoenix, Arizona.I am a member of Alpha Psi Omega, the co-ed Theatre Honor\'s Society, and am on the executive board for the second year as one of the Social Media chairs. I also help run the Theatre TCU social media accounts (make sure to follow @theatretcu and @theatretcubooks). This semester, I am studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain! Through TCU Global and CEA/CAPA, I am a student social media ambassador, which means I write monthly blogs about my time abroad, take over TCU Global’s instagram page, and share my experiences in order to help other students decide if they want to study abroad.In the Journalism Department, I work as a student writer and reporter under TCU360. To view my portfolio visit: https://tcu360.com/staff_name/sydney-vance/ Around campus, I had the opportunity to serve on the 2025 executive board of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, where I oversaw the treatment of the women in our chapter. I am a TCU Dutchmen, one of the people in striped overalls that stand at the front of the student section. Finally, I had the honor of serving as a College of Fine Arts Representative in TCU\'s Student Government Association in Fall of 2025. In the future I am looking to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism, while also continuing to pursue my passion for the theatre arts through TV/Film.
