About Sydney Soler

Hello! My name is Sydney Soler. I am a junior Supply Chain and Management Operations major with a minor in Business Analytics at Miami University - Farmer School of Business. I am originally from Rockville, Maryland and have an interest in working in the DC metropolitan area. Supply chains are the backbone of every industry, and I’ve always been fascinated by their complexity. I have always had an interest in the Supply chain industry as well as business consulting. I have strong public speaking and leadership skills which ultimately drove me into pursuing a major in Supply Chain and Management Operations.I am interested in pursuing a career in Supply Chain and Management Operations or Business Consulting, where I can apply my strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to add value to any team or organization. My internship at the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office provided me with valuable insight into working directly with clients while collaborating within a team to achieve common goals. I advocated for domestic violence victims, working closely with clients to support their needs. This experience reinforced my passion for client interaction and teamwork, and I am eager to continue developing these skills in a professional setting.My extracurriculars that I\'m involved in on Miami’s campus, I am the Director of Alumnae Relations for Women in Supply Chain Excellence (WISE) and a member of the Miami Women\'s Division I Ice Hockey Team. These experiences have helped shape my leadership, organization, and communication skills while also building connections professionally. Aside from WISE and Ice hockey, I am a part of the Zeta Nu chapter of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority.
