ABOUT SYDNEY PHAN
Hello! My name is Sydney, and I am a senior undergraduate student studying Sociology with concentrations in the Rhetoric, Film, and Screen Studies and Africana departments at Bates College. I love learning about cultures globally, socially, and economically with specific interests in technology. I believe celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in any capacity enables innovative thinking. My courses have provided me with the knowledge to understand, engage, and build a community with a wide range of people from various social contexts and backgrounds. I am a strategic communicator and organized worker! In the future, I seek to evaluate new information and consider how it may be used to advance society in my pursuit to better understand the world.
