About Sydney Ott

I\'m an alumna of The University of Alabama. I finished my degree early, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences. I grew up in Hong Kong and have spent extensive time traveling the world, gaining educational and service experience. After graduating, I moved to New York City with the dream to begin my career there. COVID began, and I relocated home to Wilmington, NC. I spent the early years of my career working full time at a Hilton hotel. While employed at the hotel, I held various other jobs in the hospitality & service industry. I am highly organized and skilled at multi-tasking due to this extensive experience. In 2023, I relocated to Raleigh, NC, where I currently work for On Location on the Olympics & Paralympics team. My most recent achievement was working for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.Having traveled to 37 countries so far, I take pride in my positively influenced global perspective. I am a lifelong believer that travel is the best way to learn about yourself and the world. My ultimate goal is to live overseas again someday.
