I work in the Division of Ocean and Climate Physics at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory under the mentorship of Adam Sobel, Suzana Camargo, and Chia-Ying Lee. My research focuses on tropical cyclone risk modeling and climate variability, with an emphasis on interpreting both observational datasets and climate model output. Currently, I am utilizing the Columbia Hazard Model (CHAZ) to evaluate tropical cyclone risk and validate its outputs against observational data. My work also involves analyzing CMIP6 output to assess model spread and agreement in environmental conditions relevant to tropical cyclone genesis.
