About Sydney Baker
As the Communications Coordinator for two non-profits dedicated to soil and water conservation in Wyoming, I have the privilege of supporting and strengthening relationships between stakeholders, Board members, and 34 conservation districts across the state. I specialize in crafting impactful communications—from newsletters and press releases to social media content—that engage existing supporters and attract new ones. I also help plan and execute fundraising events, ensuring that communication remains strong year-round. My role allows me to stay connected with the latest research and trends in soil and water conservation in Wyoming and the Mountain West, sharing valuable insights with stakeholders and districts. This work is especially meaningful to me as someone who grew up in Windsor, Colorado, and has a deep appreciation for the landscapes and resources of the Mountain West. I’m passionate about making mindful choices to preserve and protect the environment we all depend on.
