About Sydney Klaveano

I am “from” Eastern Washington, where I spent the latter half of my childhood, but lived in Minnesota, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Switzerland while growing up. This granted me the opportunity to experience a wide range of things before facing middle school. I’m passionate about sustainability, creativity, cooperative problem solving, and trying new things, whether it’s food, books, or cities. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics with a focus in Marketing and minors in Political Science and Communication. During my time at Purdue, I was involved in the National AgriMarketing Association, Old Masters, and Kappa Delta Sorority along with a role as a research assistant in the International Programs office of the College of Agriculture. I currently reside in Philadelphia, working as a Business Representative in the Northeast with BASF AgroSolutions. My days are spent problem solving with customers, monitoring research trials, and identifying key growth opportunities (literally and figuratively!) for the cropping systems in the region.
