Project architect for a variety of projects including rehabilitation and energy upgrades for multiple family housing developments, large scale office renovations in historical and non-historical buildings, adaptive reuse and new construction of industrial buildings for fabrication, storage, business and assemblies uses. Work responsibilities include producing early project planning, conceptual design documents through detailed construction documents including, design narrative reports, drawing production, cost estimating, code analysis using NFPA, ADA, ABAAS, ICC, P-100, and UFC code criteria, any local code amendments, specification writing, and coordination with other design disciplines to comprehensively capture the scope of work. Other work includes construction administration services such as reviewing and responding to product submittals and requests for more information from contractors during construction. In addition to my work responsibilities, I am also chair of the sustainability committee where we discuss, present and implement sustainability goals in our work and office culture.
