Sy Joshua | Storyteller for Change Harnessing the power of storytelling to propel organisations towards an anti-racist future. Proudly South Wales born and based, Sy has spearheaded award-winning national and international projects, championing inclusivity in employment, education, and health for both young people and adults. In 2020, he took a stand against race discrimination in employment, pivoting to become the Head of Operations at the UK-based charity Race Equality First. Turning Insights into Impact: Working nationwide, Sy has supported individuals who faced race discrimination, channelling these real-life experiences into impactful race awareness training. Successfully delivering live sessions to over employees and volunteers across diverse sectors, achieving an impressive 98% satisfaction rate. Identifying Gaps, Creating Solutions: Recognising the limitations of live sessions, Sy founded ‘Race In the Workplace’ in 2021. This innovative platform captures the essence of live training, offering 24/7/365 access to invaluable race equity knowledge. Bridging the gap for those unable to attend live sessions or preferring individual learning.
