As Director of Construction Operations for Burns & McDonnell’s Construction Group, my number one priority is helping our clients achieve success on projects from concept to completion. With nearly four decades of construction, engineering, management and finance experience, I lead a team that is experienced in multiple subcontracts, fast-track, complex projects in the Substation, Gas and Heavy Industrial, BESS, Solar, and Airport fueling system divisions.My team understands the duties and responsibilities required to successfully implement all self-perform construction portions of the projects. We work with clients in a wide range of industries including transmission and distribution, power generation, process, aviation, infrastructure and commercial.At Burns & McDonnell, our history demonstrates success in Self-Perform Construction/Design-Build/EPC delivery for our clients. In 2023, we were ranked #15 in Top 100 Construction Management-For-Fee Firms and #17 in Top 100 Design-Build Firms nationwide by Engineering News-Record.Prior to Burns & McDonnell, I served as the Division Manager of Western U.S. Operations for a direct-hire utility construction company specializing in high-voltage electrical work. My experience included organizational and operational duties for all operations in the western U.S. Throughout my career, I\'ve led more than 60 design-build projects - ranging from $5 to $45 million in size - across the U.S.I have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and I am a licensed Professional Engineer.Burns & McDonnell plans, designs, permits, constructs and manages projects all over the world with one mission in mind: to make our clients successful.
