   Reworld, formerly known as Covanta, is the leader in sustainable waste solutions dedicated to transforming waste into valuable resources through innovative technologies.• Promoted to lead the federal, state and local government relations department. • Manage five team members, providing leadership for government relations activities; synchronize federal, state, and local government-level efforts with corporate goals and planning. • Oversee the department’s budget and expenses.• Identified, hired and provide oversight for dozens of contract consultants in key markets at the local, state and federal levels. • Report directly to Executive Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer and work alongside executive leadership on strategic planning; present regularly to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team as well as quarterly to the Board of Director’s Sustainability and Environment Committee. • Led the reinvigoration of the Waste-to-Energy Association (WTEA), our national trade association, and now Chair the WTEA.
