In my role, I have been deeply involved in migrating and optimizing applications on Kubernetes-based platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Amazon EKS. Working closely with platform engineering teams, I played a key role in ensuring seamless application transitions, maintaining multiple AKS clusters across regions, and collaborating with developers to create Helm charts for their applications. One of the most impactful projects I led was building and maintaining Spinnaker pipelines for continuous deployment, which significantly improved deployment efficiency. I also embraced GitOps practices using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory, helping teams automate and streamline CI/CD workflows.Beyond deployment, I have taken a hands-on approach to infrastructure automation and security by maintaining Terraform scripts for EKS clusters, integrating Azure AD for authentication, and implementing zero-trust security with SPIFFE and mTLS. I’ve worked with Istio service mesh to enhance microservice communication, security, and reliability, ensuring robust application performance. Additionally, I have leveraged monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch to maintain system health and proactively troubleshoot issues. My passion for cloud-native technologies and automation drives me to continuously explore new tools and best practices that enhance scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
