About Swetha Arul
I have been working in IT, in retail domain for 12 years, in the course of which I have gained comprehensive knowledge in the functioning and management of retail portfolios. I have experience in working across multiple domains like Finance, Product Development, Merchandise Planning, Retail Order Management and E2E pricing for stores and dotcom channels. This diverse exposure has introduced me to various technologies (DotNet 3.5+, C#, VB.Net), tools (MSBI - SSIS/SSRS/SSAS, Hyperion, Kofax, Tradeweave, Informatica, Hummingbird, IBM WebSphere MQ, BizLink, Powershell, BMC Remedy, SVN, JIRA), methodologies (CI/CD, Agile, Waterfall) and practices. I\'m committed to learning and have good knowledge in data lake, cloud transformation strategies using MS Azure and related microservices architecture, which I hope to implement in future projects. Outside of work, I\'m a passionate urban farmer, who is particularly excited about the prospects of learning/introducing tech in agriculture, teacher and Carnatic music enthusiast. I also dabble in painting and explore different places whenever I get time.
