At Amazon, I work in the AWS Data & AI organization, contributing to Amazon SageMaker Catalog (AWS DataZone)—a core platform for enterprise data discovery, metadata management, and governance at scale.I’ve worked on customer-facing metadata and discoverability features that improve how organizations document, search, govern, and analyze data assets. This includes building support for custom metadata forms, rich text (Markdown) documentation, and business metadata enforcement, enabling teams to attach meaningful business context directly at dataset and column levels.I also contributed to making catalog asset metadata queryable, exporting metadata into Apache Iceberg tables on Amazon S3, enabling SQL-based analytics via Athena for governance reporting, auditing, and operational insights—without custom ingestion pipelines.In parallel, I design and operate scalable, event-driven backend systems to automate internal observability workflows. I re-architect time-limited compute into long-running, fault-tolerant pipelines using ECS Fargate, EventBridge, and S3, eliminating manual intervention and improving reliability.I manage cloud-native infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript) with a strong focus on secure IAM design, VPC endpoints, least-privilege access, and observability. I actively contribute to design reviews, documentation, and cross-team engineering efforts focused on platform scalability and automation excellence.Selected launches I contributed to are attached below
