ABOUT SWEET VAN LOAN
I’m a nerd who loves turning messy, complex problems into clear, actionable insights. I blend creativity with analytical thinking and genuinely enjoy figuring out patterns in data and then telling the story behind it in a way that clicks. Years in education and leadership taught me how to translate complicated info into something people actually get, and that perspective carries perfectly into data analytics, data visualization, and data storytelling.Over the past ten years, I’ve designed engaging learning experiences, led programs, and collaborated with teams and communities. Lately, I’ve pivoted into tech and data analytics, building skills in SQL, Python, Ruby, data visualization, and analytics workflows. I don’t just process numbers. I dig into the data, figure out what it means, and translate it into actions that help teams and organizations make better decisions. I’m persistent, adaptable, and genuinely love solving problems. I can be pretty relentless when I can’t figure something out and don’t take “I don’t know” for an answer. When I’m not knee-deep in code or dashboards, I tap into my creative side. I’m an actor, comedian, published author, and Dungeon Master. I play tabletop games with friends, follow comics and anime, and collaborate with artists of all kinds. That creative background is actually my secret weapon. It makes me a strong storyteller, so when I present data, I don’t just show charts. I craft narratives people remember and understand.I’m looking for data analytics roles where I can combine technical skills with communication, storytelling, and collaboration, make a tangible impact, mentor and be mentored, and have fun doing it. I want to turn data into insights that drive smarter decisions and maybe even a few smiles along the way.
