ABOUT STEPHEN WEBSTER
I have spent my career navigating complex organizational landscapes across Europe and North America. Beginning in Ireland and Germany, I managed multi-disciplinary teams and high-stakes portfolios for global brands like BMW, Siemens, and the European Organization for Quality. That foundation in European design and precision led to my move to Canada. There, I was tasked with building the Vancouver Film School’s digital and game design departments from the ground up, eventually scaling their marketing to a global stage and attracting students from 76 countries. Whether serving as CMO for the United Way or leading the strategic brand platform for the Vancouver Art Gallery, my work has always been about the same thing: finding clarity in complexity. In 2019, while stepping into a new C-Suite challenge, a major motor vehicle accident forced a sudden change in direction. This \"unplanned stop\" became a masterclass in resilience, patience, adaptive leadership, and what actually matters when the dust settles. Today, I operate as a Strategic Advisor and Interim Executive for organizations in the Arts, Education, and NPO sectors. I partner with boards and CEOs who are facing their own versions of disruption, helping them stabilize, scale, and transform without losing their core identity. Essentially, I’m the person you call when the map doesn’t match the terrain anymore. I bring a global perspective, an Irish wit, and the grounded judgment that only comes from having led through both record-breaking growth and significant personal recovery.
