Curious and energetic, I strongly believe everything can be learned. Coming from BioTechnology background, navigating my career as a software engineer, having led my EdTech company for 4 years, now working as Director of Product with a technology giant in payment industry. In my current role with Mastercard, I lead product operations of Platform Services, Mastercard’s File Transfer and Gateway solutions; and in previous role, led Mastercard Connect, Mastercard\'s premier B2B customer website servicing millions of customers worldwide. I lead a fleet of talented product managers who conceptualize the vision of product portfolios to serve business and customer needs. Bootstrapping my startup in 2017 gave me tremendous learning opportunity. As a founder, I worked on many facets like - • Product ideation, validation and roadmap planning • Market research and customer development • Building and grooming a team from scratch • Coming up with sales and marketing strategy and revenue model • Defining and tracking success metrics With over a decade of IT experience, I have developed strong technical expertise across the full spectrum of product development and delivery. My background includes designing complex system architectures using containers and event-based architectures in multi-region, multi-AZ setups, as well as hands-on coding in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Android, Angular, RDS, Redis, etc. I am an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, and also hold certifications as an Oracle Expert, Web Component Developer, and Mobile Application Developer. I’m outdoorsy and adventurous. I like to engage in activities like running, playing lawn tennis and scuba diving. I ran Satara Hill Half Marathon and other half marathons, and am PADI certified scuba diver. I love to travel and explore. I channel my additional energy and passion into volunteering for the education and economic empowerment of underrepresented groups. This includes serving on committees and boards, speaking at business and technology conferences, and participating in youth summits focused on tech, entrepreneurship, and DEI. I am also dedicated to mentoring students and aspiring entrepreneurs.
