blue bird bio, Cambridge, MA - Reporting to the VP and Head of PDMS group at I was part of the Process Data and Manufacturing Sciences (PDMS) Leadership team and worked as a Chief of Staff for the 40+ member PDMS group. I was responsible for operational planning, developing organizational strategy and driving strategic initiatives for the PDMS org- Program managed the commercial launch for first commercial product Zynteglo in EU! Tracking operations of critical sectors for our commercial launch including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Regulatory/Quality Assurance, Qualified Treatment Center QTC, Information Technology and operations of European external partner Contract Manufacturing Organization CMO, working closing with our CMC partners- Led Vineti (patient cell traceability system) implementation for drug product manufacturing at our CMOs- As part of Supply Chain team helped with implementation of customized Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning ERP modules and built a paper based process for business continuity for gene therapy scheduling and treatment, supply chain and financing- Interfaced with internal and external stakeholders to execute technology transfers and PPQ campaigns for drug development process for global programs at EU, and US for sickle cell, CALD- Implemented efficient mechanisms for tracking the overall program including creation of program roadmap for different functions highlighting interdependencies and critical path, and a robust shared communication log replacing long trail of emails. Assigned to Biotech clients, working on external facing and internal client projects - Responsibilities include Delivery at client sites- Post Delivery, create Knowledge base for the Life Sciences practice including business processes, standards, methodologies, learnings.
